Hartbeespoort Currently operating only on Saturdays and Sundays, Robertson Cheese Tours
offers you an experience of a lifetime. The 1964 Holden Special is a car
that makes the experience so much more unique and takes you back to the simple
days. The cheese tours are designed specifically to amplify the word (no
rush) take is slow and enjoy the tasting of a variety of homemade cheeses
at Van Gaalen Kaasmakerij (click HERE to read
more). The Tour. We will collect you form your residence or at place of accommodation anywhere
around Hartbeespoort Dam (max 25km from Schoemansville or Van Gaalen
Kaasmakerij) thereafter the chauffeur rates will apply). The Holden will
then stop at the farm and you will have to opportunity to taste a variety of
cheeses and after the tasting you will enjoy a nice picnic lunch on the banks of
the river, sparling wine, fruit, cheese platter, gold meat and homemade bread
and beer. Rates. R375 per person, min two people and max 4 people per tour. Allow 2
hours for the picnic lunch and cheese tasting excluding the traveling time.
